{tasty tuesday} Almond Joy Smoothie

Hi friends!

Are you ready for a treat today? A treat filled with coconut, almonds, and chocolate and is good for you?

Thought so.

How about an Almond Joy inspired smoothie!

This is seriously the way to start your morning with a smile! Find me one person that wouldn’t get excited to wake yo to chocolate for breakfast!

The ingredient list is short and simple and this is well under 400 calories!

All you do is gather your ingredients: a frozen banana, a scoop of chocolate protein powder, almond milk, coconut, and almonds. You can definitely use almond butter but I didn’t have any on hand.

This really put a smile on my face when I made it for breakfast yesterday. It’s still not easy for me to get around on my crutches but I, hoping to be off them by the end of the week!

I had my follow up appointment with my foot specialist yesterday and got checked out. I have a minor infection near the incision which causing some pain on the top of my foot. I’m hoping a after a few days on an antibiotic I will be back on the up and up! Until then more rest, ice, and elevation for me!
