The ingredient list is short and simple and this is well under 400 calories!
All you do is gather your ingredients: a frozen banana, a scoop of chocolate protein powder, almond milk, coconut, and almonds. You can definitely use almond butter but I didn’t have any on hand.
This really put a smile on my face when I made it for breakfast yesterday. It’s still not easy for me to get around on my crutches but I, hoping to be off them by the end of the week!
I had my follow up appointment with my foot specialist yesterday and got checked out. I have a minor infection near the incision which causing some pain on the top of my foot. I’m hoping a after a few days on an antibiotic I will be back on the up and up! Until then more rest, ice, and elevation for me!
